After a scorching week (and a battle with hayfever 🤧), we gave this long-term project the transformation it deserved!

We transformed this tired garden into a fresh, low-maintenance outdoor space with a clean and modern look.

The entire area was carefully levelled from top to bottom, allowing us to create a stunning three-tiered garden that balances functionality with aesthetics. At the top, we built raised flower beds alongside a perfectly flat, lush new lawn. At the bottom, we created a spacious social area using a mix of textured natural stone slabs for a visually striking finish.

A bespoke pergola was constructed over half the patio to provide future shade and add structure and character to the space.

We also made use of an unused side passage by constructing a custom-built garden shed. Reusing the original slabs as a base, we designed a tailored entrance and finished it with a shingled roof for added durability and charm.

This was a fantastic project to complete — and most importantly, we left behind a very happy customer.

A huge transformation in this garden for a nice and easy minimal maintenance area.
Installing a long split planter at the rear. Ready for climbers in the rear bed and smaller plants in the front, adding with a side veg garden.
We cleared the shingle out to then add a solid subbase.
Finishing off with a premium 38mm pile of artifical grass.
To crest some screening, we added 3 bays of Diamond trellis to split the garden and the shed space for a cleaner feel in the garden.

Installing 40m of 3ft picket, adding a nice featured top to the posts in order to prevent sitting water.
Securing of a drive from the pond in order to keep the dogs and young children safe from the water.
It was a nice project. Managed to get all posts inwithoutt coming across any major roots.
Finished off with a new 12ft driveway gate.

Installed a closer fence around 3 side of a garden using @durapost_uk posts. I like to put on an extra thick heavy duty gravel board for extra protection. Adding 3 rails and finishing of with 5.5ft featheredge for a nice solid 6ft fence. No more looking over the fence now.

Finishing up a cold week with a lovely fry up.

Remove all old wooden fence and replaced with a lovely new closboard fence.
Using @durapost_uk galvanised metal posts and timber from @mwnicefencingltd.
We had to remove the wall to create access to the garden, we then framed the opening and installed a bespoke toungue and Grove gate.

A really happy customer and 2 full bellies.

A huge face lift on this barn

On the outside we extended the external wall with a single course block wall and adding a timber frame matching into the existing walls. Adding 3 stable windows for added light, thanks to @monarchequestrianstables for supplying them. We added wheatheboard on all sides and finished off with a new coat of paint.

On the inside of the internal walls insulating and boarding the wall. To finish off we created a strong panel wall to keep in keeping with the stables.

Finished it all with new black fascia.

A very happy customer and a great step in our journey.

Finishing a wet and windy week with some pet proofing using double slatted KDM panels and duraposts. No dogs will be escaping now.

I'm really proud of this project turn out. From the dig out to the final finish.
Over 3 weeks working around this wonderful British weather, we cleared the site and dug out an area for a nice final garden level. I enjoyed the challenge of the garden levels here. Staring by bringing down the top level of the garden and retaining it with some wooden sleepers. The footings were put in for the wall and using tumbled cobbled blocks for a nice rustic finish. I created a curved wall and steps. This was a challenge as the blocks were pretty heavy. Thank God for the wheatbix in the morning.
The laying of the patio was a pleasure. Having prepped the subbase with a 1 in 80 fall to the garden, there is no standing water with this abundance of rain we are having. Finishing the patio off with a carbon resin grout to compliment it.
All the hard work is out the way, and all that is left is the fencing and levelling of the soil. We put 2 fences up, the top closeboard fence for privacy, and the bottom baton fence for a beautiful seating area. We used metal posts with timber insets to attach a black out membrane for more privacy. Then screwed in plained batons for a bespoke finish. A little time lapse of the process was fun.
Installing this allimunim pergola was fun an really complements the area and the furniture was a great accessory to finish this area off
All is left is to level the garden. There were dips all over the garden, so with the excess soil we dug out we level the bottom area and seeded with some premium grass seen. For the top this was something new for me, a thyme lawn. Planting hundred of small plants for a more sustainable and bug friendly area.

I'm really proud of this one.

I've been working up to a full garden renovation for a while and the opportunity to fully build this garden from top to bottom.

Started out with a large dig out of the whole garden and moving the fence over to extend the path way. I built up the frame around the entire garden and the raised patio. Finishing them off with a routered edge for looks but to also stop and young children from catching them selves on them. Built up all the area with type 1 MOT that were going to have slabs laid on them. Once the slabs we're laid and jointed, it was time to finish the garden starting with adding a new allimunim pergola with an opening top and new garden furniture to match. Then laying new turf on fresh top soil.

A really pleasure to complete.

A quick transformation of a rear garden in Clare to make it safer for the customer young children. Next step is to add some picket to protect from falling.

A great finish to the week. Installing 2 bespoke gates.
One was replacing an old rotten gate barely hanging on for life.
The other one was making a new entrance to a rear garden for better access.
And done by 2.30pm on a Friday. Winning!!

A nice change up from working outside on this wet and windy week.

Started off by sheeting the ceiling in a garage and adding baton along the joints to make for a nicer finish. Then added an access hatch to get in to the loft.

There was little access to the loft of this house, so I added in a spring-loaded loft ladder for acces into the attic. I then insulated the whole attic with 200mm of knauf insulation. Once done I added a 300mm raised storage area with a lip around the edge to stop items falling off then another raised area between the extension and the old house.

A great week but damn I'm itchy.

Just wrapped up putting this post and rail fence in for a repeat customer (always the a nice boost in confidence)

🔨✨ Kicking off the year with a fantastic week of installing fences! 🏡💪 Grateful for the opportunities to create secure and beautiful spaces for my dear friend and client.

We installed 40 bays of heavy duty double sided closeboard fence panels for the main part of the rear garden and then secured the bottom of the garden with post and rail with wire fencing.

A busy and dirty week installing a bespoke fence and retaining wall.

Started off clearing this overgrown rear garden border of chain link and wild hedging then started putting this composite fence up using @luxury.screens materials. And hanging a lovely gate between the two properties.

Then finished the week by ripping out an old attempt at a retaining wall. I installed a footing for the sleepers in this tight gap and added 20mm rebar rods for extra strength. Layered up the sleepers and fixed down with timber locks bolts. This wall isn't moving anywhere!!

Looking forward to finishing this great year of growth and smash out next year.

A fantastic turn around in this small area.
What was once a dead area due to the 3 drains has been transformed into comfortable seating area.

We started by raising the 3 drains to level using recessed drain covers and bring up the sub-base to height. Added a screening layer of laying sand and finished it off with a 90' herringbone pattern using the forest blend papers and boarding it with a charcoal paver to create its own space.

We had set the posts in beforehand and worked around them to create this complete bespoke pergola with baton walls for that extra privacy and aesthetic look. We router all the 6x2 timber to give it that much needed custom finish.

This whole project from start to finish had been a joy to do and has been a great learning curve for me and Zac

A much needed get away with my beautiful wife @naomi_mutu and getting lucky with the weather.

Dog proofing a garden with some post and rail fencing using british wire and treated timbers for another repeated customer and updating their front porch by repairing the brick work and adding some new charcoal porcaline slabs.

We've managed to squeeze in a local small garden renovation between jobs.

Starting off with leveling the garden and adding a new raised sleeper planter. Putting in a weed membtane along the whole garden, then cementing in a boarder for some artificial grass. We then compacting down some 8tonne of type 1 then leveling the area for the artificial grass with crushed granite fines. Once compacted we added a final layer of weed membrane and layed down the 26mm pile artificial grass.

To finish the sides we added a decorative cotswold buff stone which completed this low maintenance garden.

Making a carasel between the 3 enclosures dor safe animal crossing. Adding in 3 bespoke runs for some giant rabbits, a pen for some sheeps and a new overflow car park area.

A fun and windy week installing some old reclaimed creosote railway sleepers to infil and retain a plant bed. Then adding in a curved path using allimunim edging to hold back the sides and laying some sandstone stepping stones and pea shingle fill. Finishing of the sides with small bushes and bulbs to create a wonderful path out to the fields. Plus a special surprise for Zak to have a go on the digger. What a happy man.

An amazing transformation of a new build front and rear garden. Extending the drive by 80m2 for that extra parking. Adding a gravel grid for extra support and finishing off with interlocking slate chippings. Extending the drive entrance with 30m2 of block paving and adding a new raised planter in the front. In the rear we added 3 pads surrounded with oak sleepers and adding matching slabs. Then building 3 lovely cabins for that extra storage.
